The class is run more around simple martial arts drills and games, which leads to the children learning martial arts, but in a fun way. The sessions are fast paced and move quickly from one activity to the next ensuring children with short attention spans are always kept engaged. Teaching kids how to stay safe doesn’t have to be scary!
This class has a high emphasis on fitness and Martial Arts technique; however, these are delivered through fun and creative approaches. Working as part of a team and game play are key features of this class and really instil a strong sense of friendship amongst our students. Light and controlled sparring is a key feature of all of our classes and allows our students to put into practice what they have been learning.
We realize that each student possesses different physical abilities. Size and strength varies with each individual, so once you have acquired a strong foundation in the basics, our program will enhance your personal physical capabilities & maximize your self-defence skills. You will understand exactly what it takes, mentally & physically, to defend yourself should the time ever arise. Competitive application of what you have learnt is also important.
